ABOUT US

Championship Greatness Fitness Collective is more than just a gym—it’s a mission-driven space where boxing, fitness, and community come together.

Founded by Marcellus and Stephanie Casey, our gym operates as part of Championship Greatness, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering athletes, coaches, and families through faith, fitness, and mentorship.

We offer boxing and strength training for adults and youth, providing expert coaching in a welcoming, high-energy environment. Whether you're looking for personal training, group boxing classes, or open gym sessions, our space is designed for all skill levels—from beginners to seasoned athletes.

But what makes us different? Every paid workout directly supports our free competitive youth boxing program. Through this program, kids in Kansas City receive top-tier boxing training, mentorship, and personal development opportunities at no cost to them. We believe that boxing isn’t just about physical strength—it’s a tool for building confidence, discipline, and resilience in and out of the ring.

By training with us, you’re not just investing in your own fitness—you’re helping the next generation of champions. Join us and be part of something bigger!

I’m a personal trainer here in Kansas City. I graduated from California Baptist University in 2013 with a degree in Organizational Leadership. I’m a Kansas City native and a huge Chiefs and Royals fan. I’m a veteran of the United States Navy and married with three kiddos.

Philosophy: Success equals consistency over time. Showing up is essential in your fitness journey. My aim is to help you clarify your fitness goals. This looks like me creating a tailored made program for you, bi-weekly check-ins and coaching you through different movements.

Mind/Body balance: Maintaining a healthy level of fitness should be complementary to the other key areas of our lives. We have different relationships to tend to, professional responsibilities to look after, and time that needs to be devoted to rest and recovery. When it's time for me to re energize you'll find me reading or hanging out with the family.

Favorite lift: My favorite lift is the bench press because it's probably my most comfortable lift, now. This wasn't always the case!
